The problem

A sailing club on Lake Starnberg has a weather station, but sailors can't see its readings when they need them: on the way, deciding whether it's worth going out.

What it does

• Current wind at the station, with the age of the reading
• History and model forecast
• Push alert when wind picks up
• Runs as an app on the phone, no store needed

Who it's for

The club's sailors. Other clubs, sailing schools and harbours with their own station can join.

Tech

Preact, Cloudflare Worker and D1, Web Push; the console in the clubhouse sends directly; no running costs.
