Deniz Demirsoy, Munich. I build software: first for water sports, but with years of experience also for consultancies and retailers.
Background
- 20 years employed in IT in various positions, 16 of them at Microsoft
- 3 years managing the online-marketing consultancy Aventris in Munich
- Self-employed IT consultant since 2013: first e-commerce strategy and Shopify stores, then my own Shopify extensions, today specialist software and my own apps
How I work
- Understand the subject first, then build. For a management simulation used in aptitude diagnostics, that meant rebuilding the scoring of the old application so precisely that 360 replayed sessions matched the original 99.86 percent of the time.
- Start small, put it in real hands early.
- Honest about the state: live means live, in progress means in progress.
- No accounts, no tracking, no services that aren't needed.
